Proto-pasta's Fresh Cut Aromatic Pine PLA
is based on our easy printing, high quality PLA. This seemingly odorless plastic releases an invigorating pine scent when heated. Beyond this novel feature, it has a unique translucence with a beautiful wood fleck. Aromatic Pine PLA, made with the highest quality dry, finely ground Balsam Fir needles, prints like standard PLA.

If you are new to exotic filaments, the team at Proto-Pasta have some great tips for you.  Plus some answers to frequently asked questions, both definitely worth a read.

    • Available in 1.75 & 2.85 (3) mm diameter
    • Usable on most PLA-compatible printers, such as Makerbot, FlashForge, Dremel, Ultimaker, Printrbot, and more!
    • Kit includes 500g 8" diameter spool & festive laser cut ornament
    • Limited quantities

No abrasive fillers so expect normal wear with standard nozzles.

In our experience, good results were achieved using standard PLA parameters with standard build surface preparation (blue tape, glue stick, or BuildTak). No heated bed required.
