ABS Plus filament Red, net weight of 1 kg (2.2 lbs), in the welding positions on the outer diameter 210 mm on the reel, with an inside opening of 60 mm diameter and a width of 62 mm. The filament is vacuum sealed and contains a bag that absorbs moisture and allows the filament to remain fresh. The thickness of the ABS filament is 1.75 mm or 2.85 mm.

ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) filament is stiffer, stronger and flexible. It is mainly designed for professional use. Most often it is used for the production of prototypes, which must withstand higher temperatures. Finished products that are made of ABS filament are very durable and impact resistant. For good results, you must print at a temperature of 230–260°C.

AzureFilm ABS Plus is perfectly printed on Zortrax, Ultimaker and similar printers. For printing with an ABS filament, we recommend that the printer be closed and the bed should be heated to 100–120°C. Please note that the range in the printing temperature may slightly differ depending on the use of other printers.

If the printed product of ABS filament is placed under a cup with wipes soaked in acetone, it becomes smooth, and there are no noticeable layers in the 3D printing that appear during the printing process. The product should be left under the cup for about five minutes.

Sure and steady :)

I've always had a LOT of time for AzureFilm filaments, they're usually very hassle-free and look fantastic, so when I saw some ABS filaments of theirs on offer I had to give at least one of them a go. Since I get through black filament kind of like I get through Malteasers, this was the natural choice.

Very much business as usual! Comes tightly wound on a very interesting reel, so no tangling issues at all. VERY easy to dial in the settings for my Zortrax M200s and 200+, and although I did have some issues with the raft peeling off the bed they were my fault and not the fault of the filament. The part in the photo is literally straight off the printer with no processing at all, but the finished model is very easy to sand and finish and polishes up to a very nice shine.

All in all another success for AzureFilm. More please!
