We know over the years that several PET/PETT products can be difficult to work with or take time getting the settings right, which to be honest when you are printing with different materials and you have several projects on the go you don't really have the time to spare "dialling" in different filaments. Other than changing the temperatures slightly on the several machines we pre-tested FilaPrint PET-G
on, such as the Big Box, Poetry 2 Infinity, Flexion Graded Wanhau Duplicator 4, Modified Makerbot Replicator 2X and even on the £99 printer Startt (though we used a little PrintaFix
to hold it down on the Startt platform), there was little else to "set up" for this filament.
We found that ensuring the external fan was on after the 1st layer and not
blowing too fierce to cool down the filament between layers and allow for its superb bonding properties, all we had to do then was enjoy the 3D printing experience!
With the benefits of odour neutral, almost no “warping” (if any), food contact acceptable and being hydrophobic (does not absorb water), you can be confident in this filament for your 3D printing projects.
